This month, all our oils and their accessories are on sale @ 25% off.

We thought we'd share some of our favorite homemade cleaning recipes.
With no scary chemicals involved, and easily obtained ingredients, (many of which you probably already have on hand),
these "green" cleaning recipes are not only wonderfully effective at clean your surroundings, they are also environmentally safe.

(You can purchase a six-pack of high quality spray bottles for around $6 at Sam’s Club.  We do NOT recommend those “dollar store” variety spray bottles. We’ve been disappointed in the quality. It’s just so frustrating when you grab a bottle to spray, and it just doesn’t spray properly!)

Magick Mirror Cleaner
This potion not only cleans your mirror (and faucets) to a shine, but it will help to prevent fogging while the shower is running.

1½ cups vinegar
½ cup water
8 drops citrus oil (Lemon or Orange oil)

Combine all ingredients in a plastic spray bottle and shake well before each use.
Spray solution onto mirror and wipe with a dry cloth or towel.

Pine-Fresh Floor Cleaner
This formula isn't at all like the old pine solvent cleaners you may be used to. It works just as well, but leaves a light scent more reminiscent of a pine forest than a bucket of chemicals. You can adjust the scent to your preference by increasing or reducing the amount of essential oil used.

1 gallon hot water
2 tablespoons liquid castile soap
10 drops pine essential oil
5 drops cypress essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a large bucket.
Dip a mop into the bucket and squeeze out excess liquid.
(Rinsing is not necessary).

Pine Disinfectant

You’ll definitely prefer this recipe to your old pine cleaner!

2 cups water

2 teaspoons borax
8 drops pine essential oil
4 drops cedar essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a plastic spray bottle.
Shake well before each use.
Spray on surfaces and wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge.

Combine all ingredients in a plastic spray bottle.
Shake well before each use.
Spray generously on appliance surface or counter top, and wipe with a damp cloth, scrubber or sponge.
